Why The College Funding Coach?

I became a member of The College Funding Coach because I am passionate about helping parents develop a roadmap for saving for college without jeopardizing their retirement planning. As a mother of two, I have a personal understanding of the challenges facing families as they navigate the college planning process.

A Little More About Kareen

Career Background: Kareen has worked in the financial services industry as a financial planner for over twenty years. She provides a holistic financial planning approach for her diverse clientele, many of whom are educators, union members, urban professionals, and small business owners.

Personal: Kareen lives on the Massachusetts South Shore with her husband and her two children. In her spare time, she enjoys Zumba, spinning classes, and cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions and the New England Patriots football teams.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

Professional Accomplishments: She has written financial planning articles for both Unity First and Brockton Parents Magazine.
