Saving for college is often daunting to parents. Most don’t know what resources are available to them and what the most efficient strategy is. Over the years, I have helped clients save using unique strategies that don’t hinder their ability to save for other goals such as retirement. The College Funding Coach provides tools to families that help them best understand how to save for college.
A Little More About James
Career Background: James got insurance licensed at the age of 20 while working under the tutelage of his aunt and uncle who are both financial advisors. He was enamored at the thought of doing something that could help others. He then did an internship at Strategic Financial Partners going into his senior year of college and joined the firm when he graduated. He quickly acquired all of his licenses and got his CFP shortly after. James not only helps clients but also develops new advisors for his firm.
Personal Life/Community Involvement: James was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He resides there with his wife, Brooke, and three children, Colson, Barrett, and Remi. He gives back to the community as a board member of Unless U, a member of The Church at Brook Hills, and a volunteer for Equip. In his free time, he enjoys coaching baseball and running marathons.
